I hope you have a good outcome. I had my first surgery on my back in 78 and it took so long they couldn't get to the fusion until late 79. I had L4,5 and S1 fused. I had a great outcome even though it was done before any metal plate type work was done. I rebuilt a house 6 months later and have done three others. I built my seats on my MGA so I have very low lumbar support and made them firmer. I can ride in it all day with no problems.Good luck.Bob Jensen.
