Father forgive for I have sinned. This afternoon I was removing some stock
fog lamps.

I violated the 3rd commandment by taking The Lord's Name in vain several
times while fighting with rusty carriage bolts.

I violated the 6th commandment by wishing death upon those who designed the
stock fogs, for their use of mild steel fasteners is an abomination unto The
Lord.

I violated the 9th commandment by declaring (probably falsely) that the
designers' parents were never married. (I called them the B-word.)

I am heartily sorry.

Removing the stock fogs shouldn't be too hard in Florida, unless those balmy
sea breezes (or hurricane-force winds!) bring the foamy brine to your SHO.
: )

Regarding mounting aftermarket lamps: You'll just need some ingenuity to
devise something that will go between Lamp A and Car or Bracket B. In my 92
SHO I bent a L shape out of a piece of metal strap (1/8" by 1"winking smiley that I had
on hand. In our Neon, I mounted the lamp brackets to two pieces of 3/4"
mahogany, drilled a slotted hole for the improvised bolts to fasten the wood
to the car, and sprayed it all black.

You can take a length of 2" angle aluminum, put a 90 degree joint in it, and mount via the bumper retention bolts. Puts the aluminum right where you need it for bottom, rear, or top-mount lamps, depending upon how far down you run it. Brace the open corner in the aluminum or the lamps will shake noticeably if you're not on stock suspension. Pretty easy to do, no bending or angle cuts required. Hacksaw and drill or better required.

Drops 5 Lbs off your SHO, too.

Can you elucidate on the "90 degree joint"? I'm not sure what you mean.
Also, I'm assuming the piece of aluminum mounts vertically?
