Yesterday, I went to Sears Point in Sonoma, Ca. to race my Stang when I
saw a car that fit the description of a story a read on the mustang
alias about 8-12 months ago. Since Herr Gitzen has removed me from the
alias, I'm posting this here hoping someone can forward it to the
mustang alias. Anyhow, the car I saw was a primered Capri with an
entire red GT package on the car, including the 5 spoke rims. The
interior was the grey/black '87-'89 dash. Get this: It had an '87-'89
steering wheel that had been cut (to remove "The Club" assuming it was
from a stolen car), then taped backed together. The driver's door was
from a black Mustang.

I wrote down the licence plate number, and since I got to race the kid
once, his race number is on my time slip. I'm sure the police can use
this race number to get the name and address of the driver incase the
licence plate wasn't legitimate.

If this story sounds like the one you posted after you car was stolen,
email me. I'll give you the license plate number and the race number.
