Front On preweld

Just got back to Yuma a few days ago, haven't had a chance to work on the AU since July. Now the front end is secured to the frame the fun stuff starts (I hope). I have been building with the plan to have a very far forward cab set like the AU. I think the use of these springs will allow me to put the pedal about 5 or 6 inches in front of the frame which should give the desired cab forward. If the springs are too weak, there is another leaf I can add, but I don't think I'll have to. In...

Been reading CycleKart info for almost a year on and off and find it very interesting the various strategies that different builders take. Some buy all the pieces and parts they think they will need and start an assembly process, some seem to buy the engine, torque converter and frame bits and start from there.
