Dear Fellow Mustangers,
It is about that time that my Mustang ('65) gets the needed
suspension upgrade, now that I can afford it. But, I don't know exactly
which productst to get to improve my front end geometry. I am thinking
about getting the Mustangs Plus suspension kit which incluldes all of
springs and sway bars, etc. Now the only thing left is deciding which
product I should purchase for my front end--the Global West kit, or the Pro
Motorsport kit.
I have heard different things about each product but noone has
given any indication for sure which one is better. I have heard that the
Global West kit dosen't need a sway bar, in fact I heard that using a sway
bar with this kit is tottally not good becuase it creates the car to
oversteer. Is this true? That was something that I did not want to hear,
because I didn't want to spend all that money on a handling kit (Mustangs
Plus) with which I can't even use my rear bar.
What the Global West kit, andthe Pro Motorsport kit, include and
how do they work? In your opinion which do you think is better to have
installed? I probably should have more questions but I just can't think of
any more. If you think that I should know something that I have not asked
about please let me know.
Thanks for the help that you can give me and if you are in the L.A.
(Southern California region) area maybe I could take a look at you car so I
can get an idea of what I'm about to do. It isn't easy trying to build
something without examples.
