Greetings,
I've been on the Mustangs list for a while, but just recently joined
the Fordnatics list.
Anyway, I currently drive a 1989 Mustang LX 5.0 Sedan Modifications include
C&L 73mm MAF, SVO 65mm TB&EGR, Cobra 1.7 roller rockers, SVO Plenum
spacer, Homemade Ram-air with K&N Panel filter(Exposed Conical comeing
soon), Accell Coil, Plugs, Wires, Cap&Rotor, Motorsport 3:55 gear, a
Hurst Comp Plus Shifter, Dynamax Cat Back system, Timing at 14degrees,
160 degree thermostat,
The car sports GT Turbine style Rims, and a fresh Factory finish
blue/silver Two tone paint scheme(Yup, LX 5.0 Sedan)

Next on the list of improvements are a set of 1 5/8 shorty headers, GT-40
heads and posibly a Edlebrock intake.(Does ANYONE make a decent intake
for these cars that doesnt cost $500?????)

Dyno Tunes advertises a custom ported stock intake for $400.
I've never seen one, or seen performance numbers for one, so I can't
say how good they are but you might want to check them out.
