torque settings for valve cover bolts?

I probably just can't read but I can't seem to find the torque
settings for the valve cover bolts in the Chilton's manual.
I have the tall wing-style bolts and they seem to come loose every so
often. Does anyone know the torque settings for the valve cover bolts?

Snug. I run the rubber gaskets, so I just make sure the gasket and head
surface are clean and dry, then install and torque hand tight with a small
"T" wrench.

I wouldn't be surprised to find that the extra mass of the tall wing-nut
bolts is going to cause them to shake loose unless you (a) loctite them
or (b) grossly overtighten them (and then the studs break.)

covers or squash the gasket unevenly then you have gone to tight. I doubt a
typical torque wrench will be very accurate at 3 to 5 f-lbs anyway.

I knew there was a reason I have this 1/4", 25in-lb torque wrench that
