Normally I wouldn't do this... But since I was about to put this up on eBay,
I thought I'd just offer it here first...
There is a long and painful story behind these parts, but I will not bore
you with them. Lets just say that after long and painful negotiation I
finally got the parts I wanted that fit the way I wanted them too...
Unfortunately, my schedule had passed these event by. These parts have sat,
in their original box, in my garage since I received them. I thought, for
some time I might have them installed, but have pretty much abandoned that
idea...
I havent followed Maier's products for some time, so I do not know if these
parts match his current stock... But I did go through some trouble to
actually get them to install bolts in the end caps so they bolt up more like
the "stock end caps".
I would have attached a picture... If you'd like to see a picture, send me
off-list and I'll forward it to you...
Maier is still selling these at $400 + S/H + Tax (for CA).
Depending on the response, I'll decide how to do this, but its likely to be
$200 or Best Offer. Buyer will be responsible for any shipping charges (I'll
calculate shipping post sale).
I'm in the Long Beach, CA area (and buyer is welcome to come pick up the
part, or maybe I'll even meet you half-way somewhere...). No checks or
Credit Cards (PayPal, Cash (in some cases), Cashiers Check, etc... Only).
Please contact me off the group for this...

Oh, didn't I say that? Ahh. No I didn't. (Mea Culpa, I had a much longer
post set up with Gory details of why I was selling the part. I decided to
delete the "whinning". Unfortunately that also deleted the part about what
its for.
Sorry.
Its for a '65 Sedan. (Should fit '66 as well)
