I just picked up a pair of Rhino ramps and they seem kind of short compared
to what I remember when I used to own plain old steel ramps 10 years ago.
(the Rhino's are only 6" from the floor to where the tires sit; the side lip
is another 1" or so, but doesn't count.....)
Anyone with experience with both (how tall is a typical steel ramp?), and is
there any issues with using a regular steel ramp with a 65 mustang's
valences? I think the steel ramps were steeper than the Rhino (maybe 'cause
the steel one is taller??)
Thanks.
Michel.

I think it's an illusion. The Rhinos look shorter because
they are *longer* ... I think regular steel ramps are fine
for a stock early Mustang (no spoilers) I like the Rhinos.
Especially for my Corvette....

I originally got a set of Rhinos as they were the only ones that could
get my wife's Jetta up in the air and not damage the air dam. Use them
on my Mustang all the time.
Metal rusts. Rhinos don't. That does it for me.

I've got a pair of old steel ramps. I'll measure height and width in
the morning.
