Hey all,
I just had my '70 convertible transported from PA to CA. Thanks to
everyone who suggested paint protection tips. I had a HORRIBLE experience
with my original choice, Able Auto Transport. After about 2 weeks from my
initial deposit, they had yet to book a pickup date. I then looked at this
auto transport review site:

(autotransportwatch.com/)

And found that they were #4 in the Buyer Beware category. Great. I called
right up and cancelled, and to their credit got my deposit back in the time
promised. But, 2 weeks had been lost and the NorCal weather isn't getting
any more convertible-friendly.
I ended up going with AAAdvantage Auto Transport. I had a great
experience. They picked it up when they said, dropped it off earlier than
they promised (about 11 days cross-country) and there was no damage I could
tell. Price was about $970. I would definitely recommend these guys again.
It was easy to track by calling them and they would call the driver to see
where he was. They delivered it door to door in my flatland neighborhood.
Now the fun begins! Restore with a little restomod thrown in!

Joe
