Hi,

I've been trying to put together a 67 deluxe interior for a while, and
am still missing the AC parts of the dashboard (heater control, central
insert, and passenger side vent).

First of all, are these parts different from the standard one? Did they
simply stick the aluminium insert other the same parts as the non deluxe
(read: can I re-use my non-deluxe parts)?

Second, I think I found a set of these parts... I still don't know in
what condition they are, but depending on the condition what would be
the range of price to pay for these?

Thanks in advance

Nope - the aluminum laminates are installed on
unique (plain) backing pieces. Nice try, though. :-)

I have a 67 with deluxe interior and my girlfriend's father has a 67
with the standard, I'm 99% sure that the heater control panels are the
same in both. I don't know about the AC parts since neither of us has AC
other than 2by70. Wish I could be of more help but that's what I know,
better than nothing I guess.

You can find the aluminum pieces you need from a Mustang supplier, such as
National Parts Depot, I'd like to say the whole set is around $60. (I may be
wrong, I'm trying to remember the page, I can see it in my head!!)

Thanks for the answer but... what I'm looking at are the chrome pieces,
not the inserts. So what would be a reasonable price for these parts?

I paid $500 for 2 perfect door panels with great chrome, new aluminum inserts,
and perfect vinyl. It also included the grills. This was about two years ago
when I couldn't find a way to improve the chrome on my doors. I felt I had no
choice, but to buy another set. I found it in the Mustang Times. Look in the
SnakeBite (SAAC) newsletter too.
