Well the color is entirely up to you. Just keep in mind that sometimes people
paint a car
white/off white to hide body work. It happens to be the best color to hide
bondo.

I am sorry I can't help with choosing a shop in SF. However, I would like to
take some space
to plug the shop I have been using in CT. If you need some paint/body work/
full restoration/mechanicals

BURT BROTHERS MOTORSPORTS in New Milford is taking care of my rust laiden
shell. They also
do competition cars of all makes. However the Classic Ford Mustang is their
specialty. If are looking
