I have new KYB shocks (they have about 1000 miles on them) and I am getting
an awful squeak out of the passenger side of the suspension. I unbolted the
top of the shock and bounced the car and it seemed to go away. I tightened
the shock back down and tightened the bottom bolts and this morning the
squeak was worse than ever. I really do not know if it is the shock or the
sponge perch at this point. Anybody else had squeaky KYB's???

Now that you mention it, my 70 Mach has KYBs and I've recently noticed
squeaking from it. The whole front end is new, with about 800 miles on it.
