Yes, it happens with copper/brass too, just not nearly as fast as it does with
Aluminum, which again is not nearly so fast as zinc, which is why zinc is
usually the metal being used in a sacrificial anode.



But even with copper/brass rads, you'll notice that over time (sometimes
decades) the walls get thin, start to crumble, and eventually spawn leaks.
That's electrolysis in action.
