Anyone from this list from the NJ area? Im having my Mustang painted as of
now, and I need a reference on how to do it properly. Mustang Monthly did a
"how to" article in 2001, but as of now I can only find 5 of them. Can anyone
who subscribes to Mustang Monthly please look up that article from their back
issues? I need a copy of the article is possible. Ill pay for any costs. My
bodyshop just needs it as a reference to paint the hood.
I live in Cranford, NJ, and if anyone on this list has a Mach 1 or Boss 302
that I can take some pics of the hood Id appreciate it. HELP!!!!!! Thanks
list,

Bernie Cranford NJ Cell # 908-578-7587

Bernie,

Try www.boss302.com Go to the Boss Exchange
There are a bunch of Boss302 owners there who would be happy to take a digital
picture of their hood for you.

Also, David Hammar, who subscribes to this list has a searchable database of
articles on his site. I'm sure he'll speak up with the address.

What details of the hood striping do you need.

Have 69 Boss and Mach in the shop

remember (if your into details) that the single stripe around the=

edge does not extend into the hood edge openings.

Also the 69 assembly manual shows the application along with a
drawing of the apparat ice used to apply everything

BTW, there are lots of Mustang people in NJ, as well as quite
a few in the New York metropolitan area. I am on Long Island,
about 1-2 hours from you, depending on where in NJ you are.

Me again. I sent you the article on how to apply stripes on a Mach 1, =
but I just found an article in the May 2001 issue that is about How To =
prep and paint a Mustang yourself, featuring a gold 66 cpe. That's a =
pretty long article, and I do not think it is of much help if you do not =
do it yourself.

Any bodyshop knows the basics found in there. .... and sure your =
bodyshop does, and if not .... well, you know.
