Cool, but I really question if it's real. Soooooo much on E-bay isn't real
these days.

Notice, he NEVER specifically says it's the car from Tokyo Drift.

Instead, he just "hints" at it and uses some excuse that his "contract" won't
allow him to say the name of the movie or studio..

It appears to at least be a pretty good replica of the movie car.. might be the
real deal, but I'm not convinced.

True.

I saw a `fully restored' Mustang v8 for $49999 on craigslist the other
day. Then I saw the VIN was a T code six cylinder....can't find it now
though...

IMHO....WAY too much for a rice burner. Sorry, but I've been American muscle and American blooded all my life and I cringe when I see Mustangs like this. I would rather see a 454ci in it than rice. I'm sure it scoots, but not my car of choice. I never knew they produced a "California Mustang Fastback". Only coupes. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Another thing...ONLY 340HP without the turbo and a $100,000.00 in parts! C'mon.....build American and support our country!

I dunno...I was at a gas station a while back in my '71 Mach (nice, big,
Detroit iron, throaty exhaust) when a couple HS kids drove up in a
rice-burner with a trumpet-bell exhaust. They did the obligatory (for kids
- remember we all did that???) rev of their mean-sounding 4-banger before
shutting it down. When I was done fueling, I got back in the Mach and gave
them a real dose of what an engine should sound like, from 3 rows of pumps
away.

The kids with the ricer thought it was way cool (sort of "ok, ok, you
win!"winking smiley...and of the adults who were there, there were a few big grins!

I know they are almost the same but the Tokyo Drift car was a 67 not a 68.
