I posted this a while back, but here it is again:

Here are the details of my swap that worked. There are some details here that
I couldn't find in the archives. FYI.

I used the archive article (that was very helpful, thanks!) and used the
standard Granada spindles.

Several of the Granadas have 11" disks with around a 65mm piston bore. And, as
one guy said, you can't beat a Granada for fixup cost!

This swap cost me right around $200 for:
Use parts for:
----------------------------------------------------------
Master Cylinder $15 '68 Mustang
Calipers $19x2 '79 Granada with 302
Flexible brake lines $16x2 '73 Mustang
Semi-metallic pads $19 '79 Granada with 302
Wheel bearings $25 '79 Granada with 302
Tie rod ends $20 '79 Granada with 302
Steel lines to M/C $10 whatever fits
Used rotors, spindles,
and proportioning valve $60 '79 Granada with 302

Everything bolts on if you know what year to get it from (except for a few
fittings). The correct master cylinder is the one for a '68 Mustang. Mine had
power brakes, so I used the m/c for power brakes.

I heard about the '73 Mustang brake lines so you don't have to change fittings.
I haven't tried that one though. I used the flex hoses for a '79 Granada and
changed the fittings.

It works really well now. It completely eliminated my
pull-hard-right-then-left problem (very dangerous) I had with the front drums.

Stopping is MUCH smoother and is much better in the rain too. A world of
difference!!!!!

Hope this helps.

Best Regards,
