or to vote for this car or leave a comment

“Chrome Bumper”
aluminum head; Crane electronic ignition; hi-torque starter; AUD 465 carbs; unrestored, only rust is 4 doglegs, needs front fender dent repaired and paint; needs front suspension rebuild; a plain car but runs good

Update: it has been undergoing a slow restoration, now has new floor pans on both sides, rockers are repaired, both rear quarters and wheel wells are repaired; engine will have Pertronix ignition and tourist trophy header and stainless steel exhaust; correct 4 speed overdrive for 1973-1974 with electronic lockout (which will be deleted!); new wiring harness, many new interior parts; American style luggage rack; tourist trophy wood steering wheel
It will have a '72 recessed grill--several people will disagree with that but I happen to like that grill the best of them all!

I sold my 1974 rubber bumper GT back in April. It went to a good home in Cheyenne Wyoming. This gives me the cash flow to finish the restoration of my chrome bumper 1974 roadster. As of today I've got new master cylinders for brake and clutch, new copper-nickel brake lines, new rear wheel cylinders; new wiring harness, new Hardi fuel pump and the tank is in good shape, new electronic fuel sender; black truck bed liner under almost all of the bottom for rust proofing, lighting is all done, Bits 4 Brits fuse panel is installed, most firewall parts are installed. Now I'm ready to work on the new interior. My goal is to get it going by spring, drive it a lot to work out the bugs, and drive it to MG2026 in August at Sandusky.
