I bought this car in March 2013. It has had one registered owner from new, and still wears its original paint. It was bought new in July 1966, and lived its entire life in the San Jose and Los Angeles area. The original owner kept most of the car's original documentation, including the stamped data plate, and the original salesman's business card.
The car still retains its original engine, as listed on the data plate, and also still retains its original 3-sync OD transmission. It runs well, but has been sitting almost continuously since 1988, so it needs some love to make it reliable.
The plan is to bring the car back to presentable condition using as many original parts as possible.
