had 5 MGAs, (2 coupes) back in the day - always fixing something
worked as a mechanic and/or service adviser for many years; since changed fields, but still often work on my own cars;

did easy swap -bolt-on mgb 5 main bearing on a 61

bored out the A plate to take the B crank seal and used 3/4 plumbing pipe and 1 3/4 bolts to move the rad forward, keeping same clearance between rad and fan

B disks, rebuilt pistons and calipers redone using MGB oil cooler seals between caliper halves-exact fit and neoprene rubber so OK
