New Carb

I finally gave up on that old Weber DGV that came with the engine. I was going to go with SU's but they are soo expensive and I've been told my many they are a pain to set up. I like driving my MG and I'm tired of fixing it. So I found a new with factory warranty weber DGV online and bought it for around $200. Put it on this weekend and all troubles are gone. Drives great, no stutter, no staling. Smiles all around. I just need to fin tune it a little more. and stop the stupid new...
Show Plate

I made up this cool show plate for my B. since the car came from Connecticut, I thought a 1964 Ct plate would be cool for shows, so I made this out of an old plate I found and modified it to read MORS-GRG, or Morris Garage.

This week end I started driving the B for the first time in about 4 years! We had a couple of false starts and we fixed the last major one this weekend by replacing the gas tank, the fuel lines and rebuilding the weber DGV carb. It was a great time finally being able to drive all around and enjoy the car. However there are a few issues. The main one being it's lack of performance. It took a very long time but the dash in my B is all done and working. My father and I started out with the metal backing from a '78 dash, welded up the top "pad" it's not very soft since it's made out of metal, and spent endless hours with the drill press making the engine turned aluminum cover. We also made a new glove box door and glove box. The little white knobs control the head lights, wipers, dimmer, choke, hazards and the vent. The small gauge between the tack and the speedo has...
