I'm an aviation consultant, working out of my home designing modifications for small aviation companies. I am a Designated Engineering Representative (DER) for the FAA which means I can make design approvals as well. I also hold a professional engineering license in mechanical engineering. My background is in propulsion and heat transfer. Because one can only work with the FAA so many hours in the day, I enjoy my time in the garage working on the carburetors people send me or completing restorations that have gone awray.

I'm a frequent contributor to the MGB Driver magazine with my string of Basic B tech articles and enjoy long distance touring in the MGB and TD.
