Yes, it's run by Chevy, but is sounds like a very cool setup. Basic charge
is $40-50 (depending on when you sign up). Events are spread throughout the
country over the summer.

I registered today for (2) , Hope my son can make it ?

Were registered on Sun 8/13 Group 7,

also paid for karting and Hot Laps in the Vet. ($130.not bad for two)

I'm not going to make the Convention. It was too hard to make plans. Plant's
down for the whole month of July and two weeks into Aug. They could not tell
us (Maint.) if they need us to work. Then they forced us to take the first
two weeks off, as Vacation because that is the normal shut down.

Hey now,

I see they're coming to Baghdad-on-the-Potomac in mid August to melt some
tires on the blazing blacktop of the Redskins parking lot.

Reminiscing back on Redskins Game Day tailgating last season ... I think
"Rev It Up" will be hard pressed to provide more excitement ... whether on the
track or definitely in the pits.

For one thing I assume "Rev It Up" will be running regular pump gas, whereas
the Redskins tailgaters are burnin' alcohol. The drivers, that is, not
necessarily the cars.

Then there's the issue of track condition. They will need to patch a bunch
of cracks, especially the one big enough to yodel into, dubbed the "Marion
Barry Memorial Crack". Hit that one goin' into Turn 2 and you be's hollerin'
"The bitch set me up!"
