I've just found out IP addresses for all the machines in my building are
being changed tonight. What does this mean to you, as a Fordnatics
reader?

First, it means that Freud, the mail host, may not be reachable for the
next day or so, while the change is implemented. Likewise, outgoing
Fordnatics mail (and the digests) may be interrupted.

Second, because of the way domain name resolution works, it may be
several days before the new address gets propagated throughout the
Internet. This will likely cause intermittent failures to connect, both
here and at your end, until the new address has been propagated around
the world.

Please be patient with Fordnatics mail for the next few days, and I will
do everything I can to keep it running smoothly.
