There has been a lot of talk about using the right oil pan in road race
applications, I would like to add one more item. A light that comes on when
the engine drops below a set pressure. It is very difficult to look at your
guage while in a corner but the light will catch your eye. This is very easy
to setup, doesn't cost a lot of money, and could save you a lot of money. On
my American Sedan car, the light is set to come on at 25 psi. So far, my pan
has been sufficient and I have not seen the light come on.
