Does anyone have an experience with NASCAR type trailing arm suspensions? I
am considering putting one on my 48 ford aka american rodder March of 95.
How does this differ from a triangulated 4 bar? Can you substitute coil
overs for the Speedway Motors screw jack type spring buckets and still have
an adjustible ride height?

Because some of you dont have this mag, the article shows an installation of
Chevy Truck trailing arm suspension in a 57 shoebox. They fabricate a
hanger in the front and a panhard bar for the rear. The trailing arms are U
bolted to the axle housing and away we go. This setup eliminates all wheel
hop but still allows cornering. Looks like the shocks take all the weight
of the axle and anything on it when the vehicle gets jacked up. Is this
hard on the shocks? Any comments would be appreciated as I have never
messed with this setup before.

Thanks,
k.p.
