Does anyone have a recommendation for a dealer with a good service rep
in or near upper Fairfield county in Connecticut?

I have an 88 Taurus LX with the 3.8L engine. I had a new Ford
compressor installed last summer and it's still under warrantee. The
compressor is leaking and won't hold a charge. All the seals in the
AC lines have been replaced with the _good_ o-rings. It needs either
a new AC compressor, or new compressor seals. How much should this
kind of work cost? The location of the compressor makes the job
difficult.

Any advice is appreciated.

Jim

BTW, how much do you think I could get for this monster?
approx 75K miles, 3.8L, ps, pb, power windows, locks & sunroof,
digital dash, keyless entry, AC, heated windsheild, gray leather
interior, split bench power seats w/lumbar support, alloy rims, almost
new all-season radials, gray metallic two tone paint with no rust,
very clean inside and out.
