Hi

Can anyone who has upgraded from the flywheel for 9" clutch
found in early 80's Mustangs to the flywheel for the 10.5"
clutch used in the later ones tell me if they had to
replace the starter?

Wish I had thought of this before I meticulously
wrapped my old starter in heat wrap.

Also, I finished disassembling the '79 302 I just replaced
in my Mustang. It was pretty interesting, but now I have a
bunch of parts laying around. I'm not planning on rebuilding
( I already made the balance, crank and flywheel into a
really heavy lamp stand ) so out they go.

If you are interested a free (+ shipping or pick up in RI)
oil pan, engine plate, block, etc etc let me know before they
get donated to the local machine shop.

Maybe I can save you a few bucks on some 210K mile rod bolts smiling smiley
