Hello, I just joined the list. I guess I'll tell you a little bit about
myself. I am 21 and go to the Univ. of Illinois studying Mechanical
Engineering. I own 2 mustangs, an 89 GT daily driver and an 82 GT which I
have modified(351W, TFS heads, gear, erc) that I basically run only at the
track. I am from the Chicagoland area. Well, I guess I'll stop there. I
have a couple of questions. A friend of mine has a 66 coupe but he has no
rear-end. I have the old 7.5" out of my 82 and was going to give it to him
if it would fit. Does anyone know how it would swap in and whether or not it
wold be a major hassle? What rearends were available that year? One more
question. I am doing a paper on instrument panels for a Ergonomics class.
What features do you like or dislike about current panels? Can you suggest
any improvements, different gauges, colors, etc? Do you like the panel of one
car a lot? Anything related to instrument panels will be much appreciated.
This paper is directed towards sport cars, but any input will be
appreciated. Please direct the instrument panel letters to my e-mail
addresss: (email redacted)
Thank you very much!
Frank
