A Mustang GTS is a either a a) a base mustang with the GT engine,
trans, rear end, tires and suspension, or 2) a mustang GT with fog
light, seat and spoiler delete.
It is listed as part of option package 248A, which includes a/c and
am/fm/cassette radio. I had the a/c deleted which left the radio,
POWER DOOR LOCKS, and POWER Windows (woohoo!). MSRP on this car -
17,620. I paid 16,500 (cost + 300).
It also weighs a little over 3100 lbs.

About the pulleys - I think i'll leave them alone for now. What I did
do was bump the timing to 16 deg btc (Thanks to everyone for help on
the SPOUT connector). It really made a difference! I also removed the
factory throttle spring, untwined the two springs it comprised of, and
re-installed the weaker of the two. It makes a BIG difference in the
feel of the car.
First order of business - run the car at the strip the way it is to
get a baseline. Then I order the exhaust (either flowmaster, dynomax,
or the new edelbrock catbacks, any opinions out there?
) and run it
again. Then I get real tires and start running autox's with it
