Due to the fact that the current Mustang mailing list will soon be
discontinued, we'll be forming a new one.

The new mailing list will just be called the '5.0 Mailing List'. It will
follow closely in the steps of the old Mustang mailing list in the fact
that it will be admission by *approval only*, and it will be strictly
moderated to keep volume low and to keep message quality high.

To qualify for the mailing list, we ask that you submit a 'resume' of
your 5.0 experience. This should include the following information (to be
kept confidental):

1> Name
2> Email Address
3> Phone Number (optional!)
4> Year/Model 5.0 You Currently Own/Have Owned - # of Years owned
5> Engine, Suspension, Braking, and other modifications you have done
to the car (detailed).
6> Timeslip/ET/Road Racing experience/Driving Schools Attended

You should already be familiar with the basic maintenance of your 5.0, as
this will NOT be a mailing list for questions like: Where's the oil drain
plug on my Mustang? We expect you to have at least a repair manual for
the car (hopefully the factory/Helm manual). The type of messages we're
looking for are: Has anyone tried the Griggs Torque Arm/Panhard and the
Global West Trac-Link? Which was better?

All additions to the mailing list will be by approval only. All messages
will be distributed to list members after approval only. We're not doing
this to be eliteist, but it will be necessary to keep message traffic
down to a reasonable level, and to maintain a high quality of membership.

All messages will also be sent to this address, and then forwarded out to
the mailing list after approval. Requests for membership shoudl be
processed within 24-48 hours are are being accepted NOW.
