Someone on the list suggested that I put a XR4ti wing on my Escort.
They said that the hatch sizes look to be the same size, they are. I
measured the length of them and they are equal but could anyone tell me
if the angle from the deck of the hatch where the spoiler mounts to the
slanted part of the hatch which goes to the top of the car is the same?
If this angle is the same the wing should switch over quite easily. And
could anybody tell me if they know where to get one for pretty cheap.
The junk yards are telling me $250 for the hatch and wing(they won't sell
just the wing) and I don't even want to think of the horror of going to
the Mercury dealership to find out!!!! Thanks...

I'll remember to bring the address and phone number next time, but I know
of another place that supplies rear wings for Merkurs. Rapido Group, in
Portland, Oregon, is a high performance parts outfit that deals with
Merkurs mostly, but has some Turbo Coupe, Mustang SVO, and Turbo Probe stuff.

Mail me if interested.

I think that I saw that group advertise in a Super Ford magazine, I still
have the issue so I will have to check it out.
