Last spring I pulled a 460 with corresponding C6 out of a 1976 Lincoln Towncar
and dumped it into my '73 F250 (non 4x4). This spring I would like to get into
the 4x4 four seen by finding a mid-70's F250 4x4 that I can do an engine swap
on. Could anyone give me a trans that will work under these parameters? More
importantly, can anyone give me some advice on how to convince my wife that my
current truck isn't sufficient, and that a 4x4 with a 460 under the hood is the
answer?
