(note: I have no interest in the company or am receiving no
reimbusement of any sort for this device. This is done as a service to
other list members. In all cases, YMMV, buyer beware, etc)

Many have bemoaned the lack of a locker for the FORD 8.8
rear axle assembly. Some have heard rumors of the existance of just
such an animal. Well, it DOES exist, and I have a manufacturer's
flyer on it.

quote on......
"LOCK-RIGHT is an _automatic positive-locking_ differental....
used in Military, commercial, and civilian vehicles......the spider
gears are mearly replaced with a pair of LOCK-RIGHT driver and coupler
gear sets in the existing differental case.....can be installed in
just about 1 to 2 hours......no set-up is required since the ring and
pinion gears are unaffected....no special tools required....LOCK-RIGHT
works smoothly and without the harsh, noisy action of all other
lockers...LOCK-RIGHT is fully automatic and can be used on-road as
well as off-road....eliminates excessive tire wear and drive train
damage common with other types of lockers, and prevents wheel spin-up
and possible axle shear"
quote off......
