Well nobody else has mentioned it, but I can't hold my silence
any longer. What's wrong with the NASCAR T-Birds...? I know the
new M*nte C*rlo must have a aero advantage, but even then, the
'Birds should get lucky every once in a while. Has anyone heard
the results of the so-called wind tunnel test between the two cars?
Why doesn't Ford just graft on a new rear window like Ch*vy had
to do when Bill arrived in his '83 T-Bird..? It might create a real
collectable car, if they do it right. I heard the C*rlos and Gr*nd Pr*x
that had the rear window grafted on leaked like a sieve (street
versions). That rear window on the MC is the only significant
advantage that is visible to the eye. I know aerodynamics is a
science and the B*w Tie boys must have really done their
homework over the winter. I don't look for NASCAR to change the
rules anytime soon, not at least until after the damage is done and
teams start switching to B*w Ties. I'd be willing to bet the Fords
have been penalized more times (slowed down) than any other
make. Anybody know for sure...? Anyone know when the T-Bird is
up for a redesign and what it looks like...? I'd sure like to silence
some of the Ch*vy fans who are beating a path to my door to rub
it in... Come on Ford... Let's do it...!

On a related note to the NASCAR Tbird vs. the Monte Carlo......
Paraphrased from my newest Motor Trend Magazine, the '98 Thunderbird will
go under a serious redesign, and go front wheel drive in 1999.
