I would like to lower the rear end and increase the spring rate of my
63 Ranchero. I do not want to de arch the springs and I would prefer not to
use lowering blocks.
I would appreciate suggestions concerning suppliers and available
spring rates. I would like a fairly stiff rate since this is a lowered
car with no rear anti roll bar that will occasionally be carrying a load.
Assuming 650 lb/in front springs with a ~1 in front AR bar, what
would be a good rear spring rate. I would like fairly neutral cornering
with 215 60's in front and 245 60's in back.
Could someone also tell me the measurements to do a Shelby style
upper A arm relocation.
Do the "wedge" kits require relocating the A arm mounts.
Thanks
Chris Whalley
