Yesterday, I got my 460 conversion motor mounts from L&L Products
in Texas. Originally, I had planned to order their Headers,
$398.00, and their Super Cooling Radiator, $498.00, and the motor
mounts, $98.00, but the prices were too steep for me. I decided to
get just the motor mounts because, 1. they had a lifetime warranty,
2. were specifically made for the 460 into Bronco, and 3. you
usually get what you pay for, quality wise...
Well, to say the least, I'm NOT IMPRESSED... I opened the box
yesterday and found a set of motor mounts and nothing else...!
No grade 8 bolts, no locking nuts for the stud, nothing...
I called them and they said there were no missing parts; I got
everything I was supposed to for $98.00..... Basically, these
$98.00 motor mounts consist of a 4" square steel plate with 4 bolt
holes cut out, a piece of rubber wedge and a stud.... That's it...
I hate to be a whiner, but for $98.00, I expected there to at least
be some freaking bolts and nuts... Am I expecting too much...?

Well, considering that stock ones are about $25 a pair,
it's not too steep. I made my own to put the 460 into
my '72 Mustang, and it took at least 4 hours messing with
it to get it right,so if you're time is at all valuable,
it would be worth it I'd say (Mytime wasn't back then).
Of course, including bolts and nuts would be nice, but they
don't for stock ones either.

In a way yes. I've never gotten bolts with motor mounts. Then again I
never bought them made for a "conversion". BTW. Why would you need a
conversion in a Bronco? Is this a first generation Bronco? At least you
don't have a '72 Ranchero. Only year that it used its motor mount. '73
BB's use a different mount and it makes the engine sit too high! Jeez.
