Help! I need to increase the full aft adjustment of the driver's seat in
my '91 Mustang LX Convertible. I have a TALL potential buyer for the car
and increased legroom is the only hitch in the deal.

There is about 2-3 inches of clearance between the back of the seat and
the rear interior panel to work with.

Someone told me that the aft adjustment of the seats were limited in the
convertible when the rear interior panel was changed in 1990. Is this true?
If so, it seems like I should be able to swap in a seat track from a
non-convertible or pre-90 convertible, or remove some sort of limiting
device from my seat tracks. Sound reasonable?

Who out there is an expert of the Ford Corporate Seat Tracks? Got any part
numbers for me?

A friend recommended an adaptor available from Flo-Fit seats that may be
able to move the seat aft. Anyone have direct experience with this or a
similar device? Is it DOT approved, or at least safe?

Thanks!
