Hello fellow Fordnatics,

Being new to this list, I understand an introduction is in order:

I'm James Myers, in Memphis, TN, and while I don't currently own a Ford, I've
been trying with due diligence to pry a '62 Ranchero (w/ the OPTIONAL 170ci
engine winking smiley) away from my father, who is using it for a big catch-all box in his
garage. 8(...

My interest is in old Falcon coupes and Rancheros, and I have two questions for
now:

1. What is the ballpark value for a '63 or '64 Futura Convertible in very nice
shape, and did they come with A/C?

2. When did Ford change the Falcon bodystyle from the early rounded one to the
later square body? I think '65, but..

well, OK, three questions..

My idea is to maybe trade a '71 MGB for a clean Futura conv., I know the MGB is
worth about $3,500. Of course, I realize that whatever I can get is worth
whatever I pay for it, but Hemmings is not much help, as I get a range from
$1000 to $5000.

Ideas? Thanks,

James B.
