I'd be happy to provide a server. I've got a couple of hundred meg
sitting around that I could use. I'd even be willing to scan in photos
you guys send in. However, I'd have to limit access to members of the
Fordnatics list. My machine's pretty limited, and the sysadmins around
here would freak if I set up an anonymous FTP site.

That would be fine. I'll notify the list when I'm ready. I've found a
site outside of work that I can use, I just need to set up the
directories and such.

I'll post somthing to the list soon concerning the format of submissions.
Basically if someone uploads an image, I'll ask them to profide a short
description of the image. The requested contents of that message I
haven't decided on yet. From there I'll fill out a table of contents
type document for each directory.

I feel the same way. This brings back fond (and not so fond) memories of
when I used to run a graphics BBS.

I haven't published the FTP address yet, because there's nothing there
yet. I've gotten several submissions for the archive, so once I get
those into the archive, I'll put it on the list. This shouldn't take
too long.
