You could do what I need to do. I have a 351C shoehorned into a 74 Bronco. I
have *no* room for the stock oil filter and have to buy a shorter one. As I
change the oil after *every* trailride this wouldn't be too bad except it is
*very* hard to get at. What I'm going to do (at the next oil change) is install
a remote filter. I have a cooler so it won't be hard and then I can use a
larger filter. I feel I need a larger filter for better flow and larger
capacity (read longer use off-road).
