Speaking the contortions required to change a headlight, I had to recently
perform this act on my mom's Volvo 740 wagon. For any of you who have had
to work on Volvo's, you'll understand. It took a good 25 minutes to
replace it, and it was even a sealed headlight unit, not even the bulb
kind that snaps in! All the retaining clips, screws, washers, etc! It was
a real pain in the a**. It is set up in such a way that a lesser person
(kidding) would *have* to take it to the dealer to have it replaced, and
pay the associated high costs for parts and labor. So much for Swedish
convenience.
