Tyrannosaurus RX has only one tight clearance problem - the crank
pulley vs. the front sway bar. With the original single-sheaf V-belt
set, the bottom pulley is smack in the middle of the bar.

After measuring, I found I could fit a 5" crank pulley and still be
able to get a belt on it. I could also drop the bar about an inch,
which would allow possibly a 7" pulley. The only lower pulleys I have
in the shed are enormous pizza-size monstrosities.

I need a four bolt, pre-serpentine (it's a '74 engine) single sheaf
pulley of 5 or 6 inch diameter. I don't care if it's painted steel,
chrome, or billet aluminum. Does anyone have something like this in
their junk pile? Failing that, where could I buy one? I flipped
through some of my Ford magazines, but the only undersize pulleys I
could find that listed the diameters were for serpentine drive.

Finished up the trans crossmember Saturday. The driveshaft will be
37-3/8" long.
