I am going through my 77 F150 truck's 351W motor. I am looking
for some cheap heads (take-offs, blems, mildly used). I called diversified
to see if they got any in, but they no longer have take-offs. Anybody
know where I can get some cheap heads?

I am also looking for an aftermarket cam, but would like to stay
with something that is likely to pass the smog sniffer test. I am
considering the edelbrock performer series cam, but do not know
how much it differs from stock in terms of emissions. I would like to get an
idea of how the cam specs (overlap, lift, and duration) will affect
emissions. My goals are to get a cam that is slightly higher
performance than stock, with reasonable mileage, but somewhat clean
burning so that smog should not be a problem. I will be running a
performer manifold with a 600CFM vacuum secondary Holley. Any recomendations
as far as available cams for the 351W appreciated.

I am also in the market for some rims. My truck presently has
the stock rims, but I am planning on upgrading to some 31X10.5X15 or
33X12.5X15's. Any suggestions or recomendations?

BTW, thanks for the replies to my previous post concerning choice of
a carb/intake. I decided to go with the Holley for reasons of parts
availability and tuneability. Getting access to a holley catalog,
made things alot easier. I ended up getting a 0-80457 model carb and a
performer manifold. The 80457 was more expensive than the base 1850 model, but
it had the ford AT kickdown and electric choke as my truck is a
daily driver. I was considering some of the "emissions replacement"
series, but they were significantly more and are not 100% technically
legal in CA since the truck wasn't originally offered with a 4BBL.
I ended up getting the parts through summit (they matched PAW's slightly
lower price).

Thanks in advance,
