I just got through looking at the entire "Pretty Fast, Huh?" thread.
Everyone who contributed to the thread has heard my thoughts on their
contributions to this debacle. I regret that some disciplinary action
has become necessary.

As a result of posting a private message without permission, an explicit
charter violation, Lev Lvovsky ((email redacted)) has been removed
from the list. This is the 3rd time Lev's postings have received my
attention; he has repeatedly demonstrated a lack of judgment about what
is fit to post. I regret that this was necessary... and that I didn't
do it sooner.

Several other contributors are on notice for their share in fanning the
flames. You know who you are.

One thing that stands out about this thread is the number of posted
replies that really should have been private. PLEASE, if you feel you
MUST reply to a posting, think long and hard about whether that reply
should go only to the original poster, or to the Fordnatics list. You
can always go public later, but you can't take back a post once it's on
the 'Net.

Another thing that stands out was the unnecessarily rude and insulting
language used in some of the replies. As I indicated earlier today,
this is not acceptable language in a public forum like Fordnatics. Keep
it clean, folks!

I really do not have the time to moderate the list. I must rely on the
good judgment of the contributors to keep the content up and the noise
down. Contributors who demonstrate a persistent lack of good judgment
will be removed from the list. I MEAN IT. Ask Lev if you doubt me.

Enough of this foolishness. Let's get back to talking about cars!
