Mail From: Mike VanMeeteren <(email redacted)>

My Mustang has recently acquired a very troublesome behavior. Ever since it
has gotten cold outside (typically 0-10 degrees F) my 5.0 (2bbl) falls flat
on it's face between 2000 and 3000 rpm. This is most annoying. Does anyone
have problems such as this in their vehicle, and what might the solution be?
I am getting sick of using this much gas to accelerate. BTW, my mileage has
also dropped from about 20 to bout 14.

Thanks for any help...

Mike,
This may be incredibly easy, but at 0-10 degrees F, perhaps you are
experiencing freezing in the fuel lines? This would tend to make the car
act like a restricted fuel filter, I guess. (never gets that cold in
Texas so how would I know?)
