You've all been helpful in the past with my many 5.0 related questions, so
here's a good one about my next project.

I'm going to help two friends restore a pair of '49/'50 Ford Commercial
trucks - dual rear wheels, 2spd. rear axle, etc. They are in pieces now,
but they have the parts to 4 trucks. One will be built using a flathead v8.
The fun comes with the other - 351W mated to the stock tranny. As the only
EE in the group (the others are a metal shop teacher and a lawyer) I'll be
doing the wiring.

Any help/hints/pointers for headers to fit the 351, what year Ford truck to
use as a donor, etc. would be great. Mostly, this is my first experience
with a non-running vehicle at the start of a project. What should I
know/watch out for.

Email replies are fine if this is not of interest to the whole list.

Thanks very much!!

Ed
