What is going on at Ford? Why are they keeping their 4.6L DOHC & SOHC
Mustang's behind closed doors. Why are they refusing to inform the "media"
and the "public" about these new engined Mustangs? They sure aren't shy
showing the '96 Mustang's new hood, but I don't think anybody cares about
the hood, its the engine the counts!! By the way, does anybody know whether
or not the DOHC will meet 300hp, or more? Or are those specs still behind
closed doors?

They have been in the magazines for months now in one form or another.
Only Mustang with a new hood is the Cobra (dual scoops), and those can
be seen driving around all over in MI. You will be happy with the new
engines, believe me. I have seen mid 11's without really modifing
anything (exhaust..they hate backpressure, slightly better cams, and
better air filter assy, gears..that's it..oh, slicks too.). Try that with
a 5.0 (or a 5.8 for that matter). The brand X guys are in trouble.
