302 teardown get cam out!

When you are done tearing the motor down, you still should "hot-tank" it
to remove any deposits and to remove any crud in the water jackets. This
process also eats away the cam bearings (since it is a very caustic liquid).
If you hot-tanked it, the bearing should be eaten away
enough to pull the cam out, and even get out the sticky lifters.

Mustangs And Fords has a Good article on a 302-289 teardown, they say
that for under $2000(pocket change right?) PAW can do a total rebuild of
your engine with all of the machine work, and assmbly and Cleaning. They
also install a Roller cam(if you want) and also hardened valve seats.
