Hi all,

Given the following setup:

stock 3.8L EFI Ford TBird LX (140 HP(?)).
with Single exhaust

What will be the increase in performance/hp/air flow by
ONLY changing the muffler to a high-flow "Flowmaster/Dynomax"
type of muffler? What about dual exhaust (as in the SC) and TWO
high-flow mufflers?

Anyone ever run tests or have access to any relevant data?

I'm considering more modifications to my 'bird, and either a high-flow
single muffler, OR duals are in my future. I figure that some numbers would
help
put things into perspective.

Also, I requested some info from Superchips, but it hasn't come in yet.
Anyone have experience with the chip in a non-SC 3.8?

BTW, I just put new Eibach ProKit springs in over the weekend and they have
made a phenominal change in the handling, along with the KYB Gas-a-just
struts!
Lowered the car about 1" or so, and the (heavy) beast now corners very well.
New bushings are next, then 16" rims/tires, and so on, and so on...! smiling smiley

Thanks!

- mike
